Jr. High Boys Basketball Tryouts will be held on Monday, September 30th and Tuesday, October 1st from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm in the High School gym. Those wanting to tryout must have a signed athletic handbook agreement and current physical on file.
Here are the Jr High Softball and Baseball Regional Tournament Schedules. The Softball Regionals will be at Crab Orchard, and the Baseball Regionals will be at NCOE High School. Both of our teams will play our first game on Tuesday, September 24th at 4:30 pm. GO TROJANS!!

On Friday, the FFA competed in the District Horse Judging & Section Forestry Contests. At Horse Judging, the team placed 4th. Allana C. also placed 1st individual out of 608 competitors. At Forestry, the team placed 1st overall, with Blaine T. placing 2nd and Damein C. and Kelsey H. finishing 4th and 5th. Keep up your hard work and preparation! COHS is proud of you!!
Mrs. Pearce's 4th grade class observed how Earth's forces can impact Earth's surface. During the experiment they used clay to represent layers of rock and small classroom objects represented fossils. They discovered how the rock layers shifted when the Earth moved and what effect that movement had on the fossils. Trojan Proud!

Our FFA Members were in Vienna this past Friday (9/6/2024) to compete in Section Horse Judging! The team had great results, winning 3rd place, with Olivia S. winning 1st place individually. Wish them good luck as they compete again in the district competition this Friday (9/13/2024). Trojan Proud!
CONGRATULATIONS to the CO Claybreakers on their first meet. HS JV Lane, Blaine, Kyle, Khasen and Anthony placed 1st as well as the I/E team of Austin, Brock, Coy, Reed and Bryson. Hayden was 1st place C Class and Reed was 3rd place Pre-Sub. Trojan Proud!

The FFA had a great turnout at their 1st Annual Golf Scramble. The Scramble took place last weekend at Pine Lakes Golf Course, with 72 golfers in attendance. The FFA would like to thank the event's generous sponsors and volunteers, and hopes to continue this event for years to come!
