
We have MANY items in the lost and found (including a lot of coats). With the cold weather coming, please check to see if any of these items belong to your household. We will be clearing out the lost and found at the end of next week (January 19th).

Congratulations to all of our students who were able to participate in iReady BINGO! Great job on improving both your iReady math AND reading scores. Mrs. Killman and the students had a fun filled day celebrating their success and winning some amazing prizes.

Congratulations to the High School and Junior High students who ran the most on the PACER test. Mr. Hatton was very proud of everyone's hard work and effort!





Tuesday, December 19th, directly following the JV High School Basketball game, Crab Orchard CUSD #3 will have a special presentation. We are officially naming the softball field after longtime and current softball coach, Vernon Williams. We would like to invite all current and former players of Coach Williams to come out and join us. The JV game has a start time of 5pm and the presentation will be directly after the game.
After presenting Coach Williams with the new banner for the field, we will call all current players and former players down for a quick picture with Coach Williams.

It's already that time of year!! Our annual 12 Days of Christmas celebration begins on December 1st (this FRIDAY)!!!

Mr. Shreve's class had the unique opportunity to participate in a collaborative community art project with some residents from The Voyage in Marion. The students and seniors thoroughly enjoyed their time together and are looking forward to another visit in the future!

COHS is proud to announce that we have a member of our High School Volleyball team selected to the 2023 GEC All-Conference Team! Congratulations, Eden!!


In support of the Eldorado community, to honor Graham and his family, we are asking those who would like to participate to wear blue on Wednesday. Crab Orchard CUSD #3 would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Graham's family and the Eldorado community during this very difficult time.


The FFA went to the National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis November 1st-3rd. While in attendance students attended sessions where they were able to listen to keynote speakers and gain insight from the Nation's best chapters. Members were also able to attend the Expo & Career Fair where they were able to speak with hundreds of colleges, universities, and industry professionals about opportunities in the ag industry after graduation. In addition to this, a lot of entertainment and good food kept everyone busy. All members had a great time as they attended the convention along with a record breaking 72,000 FFA members and guests.
