On Monday, May 16th, Crab Orchard CUSD #3 is going to have a hat day to help with expenses for the family of Maci Harmon. Maci is a smart, funny, energetic 2nd grader, here at Crab Orchard, who has recently been diagnosed with a Craniopharyngioma Brain Tumor. It is unsure how many procedures she will have to go through, but the one positive is that it is an operable brain tumor and hopefully they will be able to remove it all! May is also brain cancer/tumor awareness month so on Monday, students are asked to wear the color gray. If students would like to participate in the hat day, the cost is $1.00, but donations will also be accepted. Crab Orchard is a wonderful community and we are blessed to be able to support one another.
