Lady Trojans Sweep Vienna Spikers

Crab Orchard's volleyball team bounced back from a three-game
setback against Massac County to sweep Vienna 25-6, 25-19 Tuesday
night.
Haley Upchurch was 12 of 15 serving with four aces and also dished
out 10 assists. Tiffany Shirley finished a perfect 10 of 10 serving
with three aces. Amber Mocaby and Sarah Mausey each had four
kills.
The Lady Trojans also won the junior varsity match in two games.
"We got off to a strong and quick start. We had a lot of first-ball hitting," head coach Jon Watts said. "This was a much-needed win for us tonight. Vienna is a much-improved team."
Crab Orchard (2-2) hosts Elkville at 6 p.m. Thursday.
